Hidden - Black Sheaffer PFM I - extra-fine point

The PFM I and PFM II have palladium-silver (PdAg) nibs. They perform as well as the 14k gold nibs on the other PFM models. I believe it would be difficult or impossible to detect the difference in a blind test. I think the main benefit is the added option of silver nib and trim compared to the standard gold.

The pen has one small blemish on the filler knob. Though it requires a loupe or very sharp eyes to see. Otherwise it is flawless. The PdAg nib is lovely and writes a nice, wet line though thin. I believe an XF can be, and should be, smooth and this is. The black plastic shines like a Steinway piano.
