Black Sheaffer Balance "Premier" (OS) - Vacuum-Fil - fine-medium point

Roy White seems have loved his pen from the Central Chevrolet Used Car Gang. He also took good care of it. I often see personalized pens like this that show little evidence of use. As if they were accepted then stored away somewhere. This pen is in very good condition though it does have a couple of small flea bites in the celluloid and a few spots of worn plating on the clip. The barrel transparency is quite good though the color is dark. The personalization is quite large  and will not be to everyone's taste. The price has been set accordingly.

The nib is luscious. So may points from this era are fine or extra-fine. This point is more generous and writes a smooth and wet line. It is so nice.

The filling system has been restored with modern materials that will last decades with nothing but an occasional application of pure silicone grease on the filler rod.
