1948 Persian blue Sheaffer Tuckaway Valiant Deluxe - Vacuum-Fil - fine point

Persian blue pens were only made in 1948, 1949, and part of 1950.

Some darkening of the ink view grip section. Ink level is still clearly viewable.

The nib writes a smooth, wet fine line.

The Vacuum-Fil system has been restored with modern, synthetic rubber that will last decades. Though small, the inner barrel ink chamber holds a surprising amount of ink. More than any modern ink cartridge.
