The fourth generation Triumphs (~1948) are the first Sheaffer pens to be made entirely of injection molded plastic. The third generation pens have celluloid caps and outer barrels. I love celluloid pens. But Persian Blue is the best thing about the switch to injection molded plastic. This color is just gorgeous.
This pen is beautiful and in tip-top condition. It has a white dot on the cap and also on the end of the filler knob. The filler knob is a correct replacement - apart from the white dot - from a Sentinel Deluxe Tuckaway.
