Open (standard) nib Sheaffer pens from the Triumph era are less common than those with conical Triumph nibs. This pen has a nib the same size as the slender Balance LIFETIME pens. Those slender nibs have the most bounce - though not much - of all the LIFETIME nibs. The point of this nib is somewhat teardrop shaped. It has a rather pointed tip and rounded belly, somewhat like a naginata togi though the line variation is not as pronounced.
This is the last generation of Sheaffer pen to be made from celluloid. the following generation used all injection molded plastic.
The pencil mechanism works perfectly but I have no graphite. That can be sourced from the Legendary Pencil Company in Ohio.
