Golden Brown Sheaffer Triumph Tuckaway Crest

Oh what a marvelous pen.

Tuckaways are iconic Sheaffer pens. Other manufacturers produced small pens. Of course I am biased and I don't think that any of them compare to the Tucky.

The celluloid is in excellent condition. The barrel has good transparency. It has darkened a bit but the barrel is still nicely transparent. The plating is perfect and there is not a single dent or fault in the cap. The nib is smooth, wet, firm and extra-fine.

For a small pen it holds a surprising amount of ink. More than any modern cartridge or converter. The cap posts comfortably on the end of the barrel to make this pen easy to use for even those of us with large hands.
