Burgundy Sheaffer PFM I

This pen is in perfect condition. Truly flawless.

The PFM I and PFM II have palladium-silver (PdAg) nibs. They perform as well as the 14k gold nibs on the other PFM models. I believe it would be difficult or impossible to detect the difference in a blind test. I think the main benefit is the added option of silver nib and trim compared to the standard gold.

The pen has been equipped with a silicone sac that should last far longer than the original latex. Though silicone sacs are gas permeable the Snorkel tube regulates flow and prevents ink burps.

The fine, inlaid, PdAg nib writes a wet, smooth line with just a touch of line variation. These nibs are not flexible so they should never be pushed.
