This pen was my first Vanishing Point bought from at the 2015 DC pen show along with a fistful of unrestored vintage Sheaffers. It has served me well though I've rarely used it. It is in excellent condition and I like it, but I prefer my faceted Namiki Vanishing Point.
The lacquer is unblemished. The mechanism works perfectly. The trap door closes completely keeping the nib ready to write despite it taking me weeks and weeks to run the pen dry.
There are micro-scratches on the clip but no actual scratches or plating loss.
The nib is from an earlier pen. It is stamped Namiki, 14K 585, <F>, A695 (1995) and has been ground (not by me) to an architect. It is a very nice grind but my hand is appalling with an architect so don't let the writing sample deter you.
