There is something special about a Sheaffer Tuckaway. Even those who generally prefer large pens find the Tuckaway interesting and fun. They generally were made as identical but diminutive copies of full size models. This one mimics the Triumph Sovereign with a less common standard nib rather than the more common conical nib.
This pen came to me with a badly cracked barrel binde. These pens have an inner barrel and an outer barrel. I have repaired the crack. It isn't a perfect repair as it is quite visible. But, it is a solid repair and I think it unlikely the old crack will re-open. The pen is priced accordingly. I would normally list this at nearly 3x.
The fine nib is wet and smooth. The cap posts on the barrel to make the pen comfortable even for my large hands.
