1944 Golden Pearl Parker Vacumatic Major - fine-medium point

I don't often get Parker Vacumatics. Perhaps I should look harder for them. The stacked celluloid is beautiful.

The barrel color and clarity are very good. The celluloid is perfect and without blemish as is the plating. The bands are tight and straight. The plastic plunger has only a vague hint of yellow.

The only flaws are a couple of scratches on the cap jewel, one missing feed fin, and there is no palladium plating on the nib.

The nib is a wonderful, wet, smooth fine-medium. It is a firm nib but has a hint of softness.
