In 1948 Sheaffer began making pens entirely of injection molded plastic.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe celluloid is flawless. There are no nicks, cracks, scratches or scuffs. The white dot is on the end of the filler knob which is correct for a Crest with a metal cap. The cap peak has small flat spots. The are not dents but it is not perfectly smooth. The end of the clip has a bit of plating wear. The ink view grip section has darkened but the ink level remains viewable.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMany Sheaffer Triumph nibs are stubby pointed - this one is. It is not ground to a formal stub shaped point but it does draw a wider down-stroke than cross-stroke. It provides lovely, subtle line variation.
