Parker introduced the star clip in late 1938. I've read that it was only used for a few months before being replaced with the now iconic blue diamond clip in 1939. Star clip Vacumatics aren't exactly rare but they are certainly uncommon.

This pen has been meticulously maintain. It is without blemish. It's only flaw is the silver plating has been polished off the nib. The barrel is slightly ambered though the clarity is very good. The fine nib is smooth, wet and has a nice bit of bounce.

The restoration, as always, is guaranteed for at least one year provided you strictly avoid Noodler's ink.
